School's Out Food Drive

When school lets out, many children who rely on school meals face food insecurity over the summer months. That’s why we’re hosting a School’s Out Food Drive — to help fill the gap and keep kids nourished all summer long.

Atlas Disposal is proud to partner with the Rancho Cordova Food Locker for two community food drives to support local families facing food insecurity. Both events will take place at the Food Locker’s temporary location at Cordova Neighborhood Church and are timed around seasons when need is greatest: The First Collection Event, “Schools Out”, will be aimed at assisting children who rely on school lunches when they leave school for summer break.

This is a drive-thru donation event, so you don’t even need to leave your car! Our happy volunteers will be ready to safely collect your donations straight from your vehicle—just drive up, pop the trunk and we’ll do the rest.
